Typically the decision is based on its lower cost or the lack of a custom IFS kit for your application. So what do you give up to achieve this lower cost? With a TCI Mustang II kit....nothing. Typical Mustang II shortcomings include trying to re-use the weak Ford cross member, attempting to eliminate the ugly stock track rods and not being able to take advantage of "coil over" style shocks.
