Full Tilt Street Rods kit includes a Mustang II crossmember and anti dive upper spring towers for a 1937-1940 Chevy Car stock frame.This laser cut hand made kit is compatible with all Mustang II/Pinto/Bobcat front suspension components or aftermarket replacement Mustang II parts including tubular A-Arm. This crossmember can be used with the coil spring and shock OEM style arrangement or with proper lower control arms you can use the better “coil over shock” type system. Kit is designed to lower most cars around 2″ vs. a stock Ford M2 crossmember. You can add drop spindles to further lower the vehicle.
Steering rack mounts are incorporated into the crossmembers design. OEM Ford manual or power racks including late model Mustang II or T-Bird power racks can be used. The later T-Bird rack rack will require the Power Rack Spacer kit with longer bolts available below. The rack brackets are positioned so that the bellows will clear most aftermarket full A-Arms (FAB Quest, Full Tilt, Total Cost Involved, Fatman, etc).
Please choose from welded or U-Build It as well as which control arms you will be using. Holes for stock OEM lower control arms are 1/2″. Tubular control arms use a 5/8″ pivot hole. U-Build It kits will have the cross member tack welded together. You will need to finish weld the cross member and attach the rack brackets. Welded cross members will be finish ground with rack brackets welded in place. Tube arm pivot tubes and gussets are not provideded. They typically ship with aftermarket tube control arms. If you order Full Tilt arms with a welded cross member we will weld the gussets and tubes in place. See options above.
