Adding disc brakes to your rear axle will create the best possible braking combination for your street rod or muscle car. You will notice shortened stopping distances, reduced fade and improved brake feel. This upgraded kit includes our DOT approved clear vinyl coated braided steel flex lines along with drilled and slotted rotors. Our comprehensive Ford large bearing (late and early large bearings) kit utilizes all new OEM GM parts to complete a seamless bolt on swap.

This kit includes brackets to fit ALL of the following flange patterns:

  • 8″ and 9″ Small Bearing Early Flange 2″x 3.336″
  • 9″ Large Bearing Early Flange 2.375″x 3.5″
  • 9″ Large Bearing Late Flange 2″x 3.562″

The kit includes the shims required to index (center) the caliper properly over the rotor. We also include new emergency brake cables. One cable will be 37″ long, end to end and the other will be 40.5″ long end to end. No fabrication required.

Shock configuration is parallel. 1st gen Camaro/Firebird owners may need to move one shock upper mount to create a parallel set up.

Rotors are dual bolt pattern: Ford 5x 4.5″ and GM 5x 4.75″ respectively. Center register hole is 2 13/16″. Inside hat diam is 6 3/16″.
