Tired of your old tech separate coil spring and shock suspension? It was ok for Ford back in 1974 but its not any longer! This 100% US made kit is a very effecitve and easy to install system. We include "Full Tilt Street Rods" hand made lower tubular control arms designed for coil over shocks along with QA-1 Pro billet adjustable coil overs to complete the swap. These silky smooth shocks use an eyelet style bottom mount and a threaded stud on top that works with the OE style M-II upper mount. A custom conical chrome spring is included. The narrow end rides on the "adjustable for ride height" shock collar while the top flares and fits into the M-II spring tower. These rebuildble shocks include a 12 click rebound dampening knob and come clear anodized.
The lower control arms are made of heavy 3/16" wall DOM steel. Each is hand TIG welded and beautifully finished with urethane bushings, heavy duty ball joints and all attachment hardware. They come in standard length or 5/8" narrowed and ship raw steel. Chrome and powder coating available.
Now if your retro fitting this onto an existing IFS you will need to determine if you need standared or narrowed arms. A standard length lower arm is 13.25" from the center of the pivot shaft (mounted to your crossmember) to the center of the ball joint. Narrowed will of course be 5/8" shorter. Narrowed arms typically add 1 week to your fulfillment time frame.
Spring and arm options available below.
